This is where it all began, for Bret Hart, selling programs as a young boy, until he made it inside, where you can say "the rest is history". The Victoria Pavilion on the Calgary Stampede grounds was the home of Stampede Wrestling back in the day. Bret's dad Stu Hart, started the company and Bret became one of the stars, going on to become a world famous wrestler. This building is iconic, and holds the stories of many wrestlers who began their careers in the ring within these walls. It hasn't changed much over the years, and walking in you still get the feeling of raw, untouched without the gloss, energy that was present back in the day. This was the inspiration behind the photos, a time when you could feel, smell, be a part of the action like nowhere else. This was the beginning, where it all started!
